I'm not sure if this topic has been brought up before but after listening to Gamer by PreShrunk again today i wondered what peoples favourite song about video games is. Gamer is awesome as it has samples from Half Life as well as video of the game in the music clip :headbang:

Does anyone remember that weird Euro-pop group Eiffel 65? I had their cd in the late '90s, they had a song about playing PS1 games. They listed Resident Evil, Bloody Roar, and Metal Gear Solid, IIRC.

I am partial to Weird Al Yankovich's "It's All About the Pentiums" which was a parody of "It's All About the Benjamins" by Ice Cube, I think.

i know eiffel 65, their blue song i believe was most popular in the techno dance genre. i didn't know they had a song about games. their other big hit was move your body.

Thanks Tripcore, I had a bit of that song as my ringtone for gaming friends when I got my first phone that would allow me to make my own ringtones (can't remember the exact portion, probably the chorus or something).
