I don't know if he's been mentioned here before but I thought I'd plug the music of Danny Wiessner. As featured on the IGN's PS3 Podcast Beyond (where I found out about him), this guy puts out some really cool video game inspired tunes, which, as you'll find, sports plenty of retro references and cred.
