An excellent video game music artist...

I don't know if he's been mentioned here before but I thought I'd plug the music of Danny Wiessner. As featured on the IGN's PS3 Podcast Beyond (where I found out about him), this guy puts out some really cool video game inspired tunes, which, as you'll find, sports plenty of retro references and cred. Here's three examples from his channel on Youtube.

"2 Player Co-op" (A really sweet sort of video game love song.)

"Game Girl" (A gamer parody of Taio Cruz's Dynamite)

"The World Is Saved"

From the IGN Channel description: "The World is Saved is a new epic song and anthem for video game fans. This was a collaborative effort from IGN's Podcast Beyond community. IGN's Ryan Clements pulled together a small team of volunteers to animate a video for Danny Wiessner's latest single. The video debuted at the end of the live recording of Podcast Beyond Episode 200."

Anyway, I thought you guys might enjoy. All his music is available on both Itunes and Amazon MP3, just in case your interested... :kirby:
