Hi All! I was listening to episode 113 when this question popped up in my mind: what's a game you've played to completion, but wished could keep going? I see this as applying to any retro game, sandbox or not. There are some really good games out there that we've completed all the levels/sidequests/missions for but either hit 100% completion or just plain beat the game and watched the ending credits. My personal submission for this would be Super Mario RPG. I've done everything in the game (even beaten Culex) and I'm wanting more. Do any of you have games like this that you wanna keep playing even though all has been accomplished?
Currently playing: Fatal Labyrinth (PS3), King's Quest: The Silver Lining (PC)

I was really bummed out Super Mario 3D Land was over. Luckally you can play the special stage version of the game after that.

World of Warcraft. Oh, wait...
I think games that have an engrossing story and/or an interesting atmosphere are like this for me. A couple of examples would be Chrono Cross, Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Metroid Prime. Now that I think about it, there is still a good portion of those games that I haven't experienced.

Currently playing TES III: Morrowind. That's right. Screw you, Skyrim!

I felt this way about both GTA: Vice City and Bully. They could have put a dozen more quests in each and I wouldn't have been bored. Same with Baldur's Gate, I was definitely up for a few more quests when it ended.

you could play san adreas if you wanted more of vice city, though they are slightly different.
i thought baldur's gate has an expansion?

Defiantly Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete on PS1. I played the original on Sega CD, and the remake was so much better and remains my favorite RPG of all time.
